RCGS Resolute is an exceptional vessel built specifically for passenger expedition travel. All your safety and comfort are catered for on board, she boasts a modern stabilisation system and an unsurpassed ice classification that exceeds the Polar Code.

A trip to the polar regions is a trip of a lifetime for most, and those aboard the RCGS will benefit from one of the best wilderness programmes accompanied by top-notch kit (waterproof jacket, pants, mud boots, waterproof backpack, trekking poles and binoculars) and highly trained on board staff.

The dining room, with sweeping 270 degree vistas can accommodate all passengers in one sitting. Breakfasts are served buffet style along with an omelette bar and an a la carte menu. Lunch is an a la carte menu along with soup, salad and dessert buffet. To close the day, expansive options are on offer at dinner, carefully prepared by a team of international chefs, there is plenty of choice. Dishes are paired with a selection of international wines and beverages. For those wanting simple and delicious meals in an outdoor setting then the Bistro on Deck 6 is the place to be. Grab a quick bite and then bet back to the observation deck for more wildlife viewing and photography.

The bridge is always open to guests, it's an opportunity to learn about navigation and what it entails to operate a vessel such as the RCGS Resolute. Guides will be on the bridge to assist with wildlife spotting and identification. The relaxed bar/lounge on deck 5 is a communal gathering space for briefings, updates and presentation and of course happy hour! On deck 7, directly above the bridge is the Observation Lounge complete with library and bar, it's a popular place to be with 270 degree views and access to outer decks too. Coffee and tea is always on the go and afternoons and evenings, the bar is open.

There is a custom built laboratory on board allowing scientific research to be conducted on bard. You can experience this first hand and interact with some of the on-board researchers. If you feel you've over indulged at mealtimes there is an onboard gym with cardio machines, free weights, TRX and yoga mats and there's a sauna and steam room, ideal after a chilly excursion. No matter what weather conditions you encounter, the Jacuzzi is sheltered from the elements by a glass covering and there's also a heated salt-water pool.

No polar expedition vessel would be complete without a 360 degree observation deck, which is found on deck 8. This is a wonderful place to be on a calm day as you scan the horizons with your binoculars looking for wildlife. The views are quite simply breath taking.
