Location:  The Oberoi Rajvilas is set in almost 13 hectares of gardens just 10kms from the city of Jaipur in Rajasthan, about a 20 minute drive. Jaipur airport 17kms the hotel and the railway station is 13kms away.

Rooms:  There are 54 rooms all with TV, DVD and CD player, Wi-Fi internet access, direct dial phone, minibar, and safe. They are set around courtyards and have views of the gardens. All have an en-suite bathroom with a sunken white marble bath and walk-in shower. In addition there are 14 luxury tents, all air conditioned and featuring a dressing room, bathroom with shower and bath, and a private patio. The royal tent has a bedroom and separate living room with a dining area, plus a private patio and garden. There are also 3 spacious luxury villas with private swimming pools. Toiletries abd bathrobes are provided for all guests.

Activities:  Sightseeing in Jaipur, shopping. Yoga sessions at the hotel, spa treatments, swimming, strolling in the gardens and elephant rides. Private cooking lessons with a resident chef can be arranged. 

Facilities:  The Oberoi Spa offers a range of treatments, a steam room Jacuzzi and gym. There is a boutique. The hotel offers a laundry service, foreign currency exchange and safe deposit boxes. The hotel has an international restaurant, Surya Mahal, with an adjoining courtyard where musical performances are staged each evening. Raj Mahal serves Indian food and has both indoor and outdoor eating areas. It features a Tandoor Bar where guests can watch meals being prepared. This restaurant is open between October and March (inclusive). The Rajwada library Bar serves cocktails, wines and spirits and has a collection of books, old manuscripts and board games. There are attractive gardens, 2 tennis courts and a 5 hole pitch and put course. There is a 60 foot outdoor swimming pool which is heated in winter.  

Dining:  Meals are taken at individual tables.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome. There is a babysitting service.

Health:  We recommend malaria prophylactics for travel to India.

Communication:  There is free Wi-Fi internet access in guest rooms and public areas.
