Open: Porini Lion Camp is open all year.

Location: Porini Lion Camp is in the 20,000 acre Olare Orok Conservancy bordering the Masai Mara, just 30 minutes from the Talek Gate. The camp is on the banks of the seasonal Ntiakatiak River and permanent hippo pools. The Old Kiombo airstrip is a 25-minute drive from the camp.

Rooms: There are 10 luxury tents, very spacious with a double and single bed and an en-suite facilities including a shower and flush toilet. Hot water is available on request. Each tent has a large, secluded veranda. There is also a family unit made up of 2 rooms separated by a shared lounge. Each bedroom has a king size and a single bed.

Activities: The camp offers morning and evening game drives in the conservancy. Full day game drives in Mara National Reserve are also available. Night drives are also possible. The vehicles have electric points where you can charge your camera or phone. You can go on a guided walk with a Masai and enjoy picnic lunches and sundowners in scenic locations. Hot air balloon rides can be arranged.

Facilities: Meals are served in the mess tent and are convivial occasions. Fresh bread is backed each day. Dinner is a 3-course meal served with wine. You can relax in the bar / lounge.

Dining: Meals are taken communally.

Children: Children aged 8 years and older are welcome.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is no internet access.
