Porini Lion Camp is in the exclusive 20,000-acre Olare Motorogi Conservancy in Kenya. This expansive conservancy, which borders the Masai Mara Game Reserve is home to an abundance of animals including the big cats for which the Mara is famous. The camp is set along the banks of the Ntiakatiak River, a seasonal river with some permanent hippo pools near the camp. With just 10 comfortable guest tents the camp is exclusive and gives guests a real bush experience.
The tents are very spacious and have private verandahs along the length of the tent, providing a secluded and private space for guests to relax and enjoy the beauty of this African wilderness. Each tent has en-suite bathrooms with flush toilets and hot showers. There is a spacious 2-bedroomed unit for families.
Food is excellent with freshly baked bread and high-quality meals prepared by the camp chef.
You will enjoy day and night game drives in open-sided 4x4 vehicles. Maasai warriors escort guests on walks in the conservancy, giving information about how the indigenous animals and plants used by the community.

More reviewsTotally an eco-friendly establishment situated in a very relaxing location. The tents were spacious and well equipped with flush toilets and hot water provided for showers. The service provided by the staff was very attentive, but not over obtrusive and one could relax easily after the game drives. The food was excellent and well prepared and presented.
