Poco a Poco is a delightful family run hotel in Santa Elena, Monteverde.  Since it's inception it has slowly grown, hence the name Poco a Poco which means 'little by little'.  The hotel still has the same warm and friendly atmosphere that it has always had and is a convenient short stroll from the town's shops and restaurants.

With just 30 rooms across a variety of categories, Poco a Poco maintains a cosy and intimate vibe. The rooms have everything you could need from coffee maker, bathrobe and modern en-suite facilities.  The decor is simple and authentic, with local artworks adorning the walls and wooden furniture a main feature.  Most rooms have large picture windows showcasing views of the gardens or the village. There are four forest deluxe rooms tucked away in the gardens, perfect for those wanting a little more privacy.

The gardens are beautiful and lush as you would expect in the cloudforest. There is a short nature trail running through them, a lovely way to begin your day before setting of on your cloudforest adventures. The gardens are a magnet for birdlife, it's a relaxing place to spend a little time.
