The rooms are spacious and thoughtfully designed, each one beautifully furnished and equipped with modern comforts like air-conditioning, en-suite bathrooms, and of course, wifi.  The decor pays homage to the vibrant cultural heritage of the region with local art and fabrics adding colour and authenticity. Whilst there are 50 rooms at the lodge, it still maintains an intimate atmosphere that you would associate with a smaller establishents.

At the heart of the lodge is the lounge and dining area both of which are inviting spaces to spend time. Dining at Pioneers Lodge is a treat. Delectable meals combining local and international dishes are prepared using fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Meals can be enjoyed in the spacious dining area and the bar provides an inviting place to relax and share stories after a day of exploration.

To enhance your stay, there are two swimming pools where you can spend some time when not out exploring - it's the perfect spot for a hot day.  Pioneers also has a day spa that offers relaxing treatments
