Specifications: Passion is a small motor yacht with a maximum speed of 10 knots.
Cabins: Passion has five cabins and two suites. One of the cabins (number five) is smaller than the others and is often used for single occupancy. It has a smaller bathroom, too, with only a shower. The other cabins have both a shower and a bath. The VIP and master suites have two bathrooms each and a sitting area. Cabins and suites have portholes. The smaller cabin has (number 5) has windows rather than a portholes. There are no TVs in the cabins or suites. The maximum capacity is 14 passengers.
Facilities & Crew: The dining room and lounge are on the main deck, with the sky lounge and bar on the upper deck. There is a sundeck and a seating area, sunbeds and a jacuzzi. The jacuzzi is only filled on request. Interiors are air conditioned. Kayaks, snorkelling equipment and wetsuits are available for passengers at not extra charge. She has a crew of nine plus the bilingual naturalist guide.
Itineraries: Passion offers a choice of two eight-day itineraries.
Children: Children are welcome.
Health: The Galapagos Islands are not a malarial area.

More reviewsI can't speak highly enough about The Passion. Firstly from what we learned the live aboard boat is by far the best (only) way to see the Galapagos. The Passion is, from what I saw, the best boat doing the tour. Great facilities, fantastic crew (1 to 1 ratio crew to passengers) and a superb guide. Two chefs on board so food was terrific and they cater for all tastes / allergies / etc etc. The facilities and space on board are exceptional - the closest you'll get to having your own yacht.
