The parador is a gracious 18th century mansion, rescued from disrepair and now back to its original splendour Original features have been retained and carefully restored, so you can admire the ornately carved wooden doors and shutters, elegant archways and staircases and feature stone walls. Located close to Sucre's main square this hotel makes a good choice for city sightseeing and local excursions.

The restaurant is made up of a series of subterranean chambers with vaulted ceilings and walls adorned with local artworks, all of which provides an atmospheric backdrop for your meal, enhanced by live music on some evenings. The coffee bar provides a more casual setting for snacks and light meals, and there's a lovely rooftop terrace where you can enjoy views over the city, plus a courtyard for secluded relaxation.

Rooms and suites have been furnished and decorated to reflect the history of the building and feature antiques and artworks for a feeling of authenticity. Mod cons such as climate control, cable TV, fridge, Wi-Fi and en-suite bathroom, have been incorporated too, to make your stay comfortable. One of the more unusual features of the hotel is the small musuem located in the vaults, with displays of objects found during the renovation in the early 21st century when the underground passageways were uncovered.
