Open: Belmond Palacio Nazarenas is open all year.

Location: Palacio Nazarenas is in the square of the same name in Cusco, located next to its sister property, Belmond Hotel Monasterio and near to the city’s main square. It is about a 10 minute drive from the airport.

Rooms: There are 55 suites made up of junior, studio, one bedroom and signature suites. All come with 24 hour butler service. Suites vary in size: junior 30-37sqm, studio 40-74sqm, one bedroom 57-68sqm, and signature 62-130sqm. All have similar facilities including a sitting area, satellite TV, Wi-Fi and iPad, bar with hot and cold drinks and snacks, plus a bathroom with underfloor heating and supply of toiletries,. The air conditioning system can be used to supply oxygen-enriched air to help ease any symptoms of altitude sickness. The air can also be scented with soothing aromas of Andean herbs and flowers.

Activities: Many of the city’s major attractions are within walking distance of the hotel. At the hotel itself you can take a guided tour, view the art collection, attend a cookery or pottery class, take part in a yoga session, try some salsa dancing and taste different varieties of pisco, Peru’s national drink.

Facilities: The hotel is built around a large courtyard, and there are 7 terraces, one of which has a heated swimming pool. The lounge, with a wide screen TV and snooker table, is housed on the lower floor of the former chapel, with a quiet reading area and library upstairs. Free tea and coffee is available during the day. The hotel shop sells handicrafts and designer clothing. The hotel has a restaurant (see below) and a poolside bar. There is a small patio garden. The spa offers a wide range of treatments in 6 rooms, and there is a bar providing healthy refreshments.

Dining: Meals are eaten at individual tables in Senzo Restaurant. Breakfast is served from 5am till 10:30am, lunch from 11 to 4pm, and dinner 7pm till 10:30pm. The cuisine is modern Andean. You can also dine at the adjacent Belmond Hotel Monasterio.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. Those under 5 years stay free when sharing existing bedding with parents. Older children can be accommodated in a connecting guest room.

Health: Cusco is not a malarial area.

Communication: There is a computer for guest use in the lounge.
