Open: Pakaritampu is open all year.

Location:  Pakaritampu is 2 minutes from the train station with direct connection to Machu Picchu, and a 90-minute drive from Cuzco.

Rooms: There are 37 rooms in total, with standard and superior rooms, available in single, double, twin and triple configurations, and a suite.  All rooms have cable TV, hairdryer, safe, 24-hour hot water, ensuite bathroom.  The suite has a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom, plus a living room, dining room and additional bathroom.

Activities:  Tours of archaeological sites, hiking, picnics. There are also many local events, such as the January 1 celebration game of Sinkuy (bowling), and the traditional dances and festivities at the Festival of the Bajada de Reyes (January 5-8), February carnivals and the Misk'a Raymi corn harvest celebration in December.

Facilities:  Restaurant, bar, currency exchange, laundry, luggage storage, concierge service, free parking, airport shuttle, gift shop, lounge/TV area, room service. Picnic lunches are available.

Dining:  Meals are taken at individual tables in the dining room or the lounge bar.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome.

Health: Ollantaytambo is not a malarial area.

Communication: There is free wifi internet access.
