Open:  Opuwo Country Lodge is open all year round.

Location:  On the edge of Opuwo town, Kunene.

Rooms:  There are 40 rooms, 12 standard and 28 luxury.  They are all simply furnished with en-suite facilities and air-conditioning. The main differential is the luxury rooms are a little larger than the standard.

Activities:  Activities offered include a guided visit to a Himba village, and a guided tour of Epupa Falls. Trips travelling further into Kaokoland are also possible.

Facilities:   The main area is spacious with a high thatch roof.  It houses a lounge, bar, dining area, curio shop and a wine cellar.  Outdoors there is an infinity pool and also a decked area. There is a spa offering treatments, it is best to book in advance. Camping is also available here.

Dining:  Meals are served on individual tables. The lodge can cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome.

Health:  This is a malaria area.

Communication:  WiFi is available in public areas.
