Old Drift Lodge is just 7kms upstream of Victoria Falls, so well placed for enjoying tours of the falls and the many activities available there. Its location facing the Zambezi River and within Zambezi National Park means that you can also enjoy wildlife viewing by water and land during your stay, as well as valuable restful downtime at the lodge.

A guided tour of Victoria Falls is a must and can be arranged at the lodge taking place in either the morning or afternoon as you prefer. It includes a walk through the rainforest as well as visits to viewpoints. Half day game drives in the national park is arguably the best way to view wildlife, while a boat trip on the Zambezi River provides a restful alternative and a guided walk opens your eyes to the minutiae of the bush. A trip to the famous Lookout Cafe high above the river rapids is another popular activity. Other options such as excursions to Livingstone Island, a canopy tour, white water rafting and scenic helicopter flight can be organised.

Back at Old Drift Lodge you can relax on the main deck with its sunken firepit where sundowners are served, enjoy tasty food served indoors and outside in the open air and socialise in the bar. Spa treatments can be arranged to aid relaxation.

There are ten double suites and four larger suites for families. They retain a safari feel with canvas walls and ceilings, with wooden frames, glass windows and doors making them reassuringly sturdy. Air conditioning keeps interiors cool and attractive soft furnishings add comfort. Each has a sitting area, an en-suite bathroom and a private deck with an outdoor shower, bath, star bed and plunge pool.
