  • Witness the annual migration
  • Dine under the stars
  • Chat around the glowing camp fire

Olaado is a small mobile camp that moves between two sites in the Serengeti, ensuring the best game viewing including the great natural spectacle of the annual wildebeest migration. From mid-June to October it is in Kogatende in the north, and between December and March the camp moves to the Ndutu area to the south. Due to its size the camp has an intimate atmosphere, and staying here you feel immersed in nature.

There are 6 traditional walk-in safari tents with comfy beds. Screened windows let in ample light, and after dark lanterns give the interior a cosy glow. Each tent has its own bathroom at the back with a bucket shower, hand basin and flush toilet. To the front of the tent there's a shaded sitting area with a couple of safari chairs where you can while away the time between safaris.

Meals are eaten in the mess tent, out of the heat of the sun, with dinner often served out in the open under the starry sky. Given the remote location and basic conditions, the chef magics up some truly wonderful food. Just before dusk each day the camp fire is lit, providing a venue for sundowner drinks and the chance to look back at the highlights of the day's game viewing with fellow guests.
