Open: Ngoma Safari Lodge is open all year.

Location: Ngoma Safari Lodge is by the Chobe River in Chobe Forest Reserve on the western edge of Chobe National Park. It is just under an hour’s drive from Kasane, the nearest airport.

Rooms: There are 8 suites. All are air-conditioned, have a Nespresso machine and tea maker, minibar, safe, private terrace, plunge pool, en-suite bathroom with a bathtub, twin hand basins, a separate flush toilet, a shower and an outdoor shower. 2 of the suites have day beds that can sleep a 3rd person if needed. They are at varying distances from the central area, and there are staff to escort guests back to their tents after dark.

Activities: Available activities include day and night game drives, boat cruises, guided walks, and village and school visits. Renowned for elephants, Chobe also has large populations of buffalo, zebra, giraffe and antelope as well as predators.

Facilities: These comprise a lounge with a wood-burning stove, dining room and bar. Outdoors there’s a dining terrace, a viewing deck overlooking a waterhole, and a plunge pool with a sundeck. The lodge offers a complimentary laundry service.

Dining: Meals can be eaten as a group or at individual tables.

Children: Children aged 10 years and upwards are welcome. They need to be kept under supervision at all times as the camp is unfenced.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access in the main lodge. There is reasonable mobile phone coverage.
