The location is fabulous with the calm sea on one side and tropical jungle on the other.  The vegetation has been left to enhance the grounds rather than cutting them back for a more manicured approach. Stretching out in front of the hotel is a large expanse of private beach, an extension of this rather lovely boutique hotel. Hidden away is the hotel's main pool, surrounded by tropical plants and trees.

The restaurant, Manzú, also makes the most of the beach and the salty breeze coming off the sea. You can dine under the thatched area, or, in a very relaxed fashion at low tables and beanbags on the beach. Savour meals from the international menu, all prepared with a Tico twist. The recipes used by the chef have been handed down from generation to generation and are all made with fresh, local ingredients. Watch the sun set with a signature cocktail in hand as you soak up the tranquil atmosphere here at Nantipa.
