Open:  15 June to 31 October each year.

Location:   Deep in the heart of the North Luangwa Park, 10km from the Mwaleshi and Luangwa River confluence.  The airstrip is a 10 minute drive from the camp, and the flight from Tafika takes about 30 muinutes and from Mfuwe takes around 40 minutes.

Rooms:  Four en-suite chalets, two twins and two doubles, made from local materials (reed, wood and thatch). Staff provide hot water for the shower, and there are portable fans to keep the rooms cool. These chalets are re-built every year. The camp can accommodate a maximum of six guests.

Activities:  Guided walking safaris with a guide and an armed national park scout are the main activity supplemented by birdwatching and visits to Mwaleshi Falls.

Facilities:  A cosy lounge and bar area makes up the central part of the camp, and there is a seating area by the river. There are battery charging facilities. The camp provides a daily laundry service. Camp outs by the Mwaleshi River are available for people booking 4 nights or more, and include dinner and breakfast, and sleeping on bedding set beneath a large mosquito net. This can be booked in advance of travel or arranged locally, subject to availability.

Dining:  Meals are served in the thatched dining area or under the stars and are usually eaten together as a group.

Children:  The camp accepts children 12 years of age and over. As the camp is unfenced, children need to be supervised at all times.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is very limited mobile reception, no direct phone or fax and no internet.
