Open: Mombo is open all year. 

Location: Mombo is in a private concession at the northern tip of Chief's Island. It is located within the borders of the Moremi Game Reserve and is only accessible by light aircraft.

Rooms: There are 9 tented suites at Mombo. These provide self-contained accommodation, each with an en-suite bathroom with shower and copper bathtub, an additional outdoor shower and a private veranda with sala. Each deck has a private plunge pool. A ceiling fan will circulate the air and keep things cool. Batteries can be charged in the tents.

Activities: Morning and afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles with a guaranteed window seat, there is a hide a short distance from camp. Regular conservation talks are held to highlight the plight of the rhino. As an optional extra you could take a scenic helicopter flight 

Facilities: The communal area is a large open plan area with lounge, and dining areas, a library and a bar. On chilly evenings a fire is lit in the lounge. The main areas look out onto the floodplains and. There’s a swimming pool and a sunlounge deck. The firepit is where everyone gathers early morning and also each evening after dinner. The traditional boma makes an excellent venue for traditional evenings.

Dining: Meals are eaten at individual tables or with other guests, as preferred.

Children: Children from the age of 13 are welcome. 

Health: This is a malarial area. 

Communication: There is no internet access but there is a mobile signal, though it is not to be relied upon.
