Open: Meerkat Guesthouse is open all year.
Location: In a quiet part of Swakopmund close to the town centre.
Rooms: There are nine guest rooms made up of seven doubles, one triple and one family room with two bedrooms which sleeps up to five people. All have flatscreen TV, Wi-Fi, tea and coffee maker, minibar, air conditioning and an en-suite bathroom.
Activities: Enjoy the various adventure activities available in the area such as desert tours, sandboarding, cruises and scenic flights, with staff able to help book these.
Facilities: The lounge has a selection of books and games. The open fire provides extra warmth on chilly evenings. Free tea and coffee is available throughout the day and there’s an honesty bar. Outside you can relax on the terrace with sunny and shaded areas. There is secure car parking. The guesthouse offers a laundry service (pay locally).
Dining: The guesthouse provides breakfast with dinner available on request, served at the Fish Deli a short walk away. There are other restaurants within walking distance, too.
Children: Children of all ages are welcome. There is a family room with two bedrooms.
Health: This is a low risk malarial area.
Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access, pay locally.
