Open: Mashatu Tented Camp is open all year.

Location: Mashatu Tented Camp is in northern part of Mashatu Private Game Reserve in the Tuli Block in eastern Botswana, near the borders with South Africa and Zimbabwe. It is a 30-minute drive from Mashatu Main Camp. There are regular flights from Maun and Johannesburg.

Rooms: There are eight walk-in, insect proof guest tents, a mix of twins and doubles, with a wardrobe, dressing table and bedside tables. They are set on concrete platforms. Each is equipped with fans to keep them cool, battery charging points and a supply of drinking water. The en-suite hot water shower is suspended from a tree, open to the sky but screened for privacy and there is a porcelain hand basin and a flush toilet. At the front of the tent the shaded veranda has two chairs.

Activities: 4x4 morning, afternoon and night game drives with a guide and spotter, guided nature walks and bird watching are supplemented by horse (experienced riders only) and mountain bike riding and wildlife watching and photography from hides.

Facilities: There is a thatched lounge and dining tent plus an atmospheric boma by the floodlit waterhole, often used for dinner by the light of the camp fire. A hide is positioned nearby and gives you great views of wildlife by the waterhole. The plunge pool is a great way to cool off in hot weather.

Dining: Most meals are eaten together in the dining tent or the boma.

Children aged 12 years and over are welcome.

This is a malaria area.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi in some communal areas.
