Specifications: Mary Anne is a 216 foot 3-masted barquentine sailing ship with 1000 square metres of sail. She has a cruising speed of 8 knots. 

Cabins: Mary Anne has 12 cabins accommodating a maximum of 16 passengers. All cabins have private bathrooms. 

Facilities & Crew: Mary Anne has a comfortable, wood-panelled lounge, separate library and entertainment centre and a cosy bar area. There is a dining room. Outside there is ample deck space and seating. She has 2 on board freshwater makers. She carries snorkelling equipment and sea kayaks, free for passengers to use. Passengers have opportunities for taking part in sailing lessons, learning to tie nautical knots and navigate by the stars and participate in cooking classes. The ship’s crew consists of the captain, first mate, engineers, 2 sailors, chef, chef’s assistant and naturalist guide. 

Itineraries: Mary Anne offers 5, 6, 10, 11 and 15-day itineraries. 

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. 

Health: The Galapagos Islands are not a malarial area.

Beautiful boat, excellent cabin accommodation (I was allocated a double cabin, perhaps because of my 14 night stay), wonderful food, friendly helpful crew, especially Eduardo the captain.
