Open: Marari Sands Beach Resort is open all year.

Location: Marari Sands in on the beach of the same name. The nearest airport is Kochi (Cochin), about a 2-hour drive (75kms) away. The Aleppy backwaters are about 15kms from Marari Sands.

Rooms: There are 13 guest rooms, made up of 4 palm-view rooms and 9 palm-view villas. The rooms are about 28sqm and feature flatscreen TV, tea and coffee maker, intercom, en-suite bathroom and air conditioning. Villas occupy over 32sqm, have the same facilities and include a private sit-out and garden. 5 of the villas have open-air bathrooms. The home operates a limited room service menu (additional charge).

Activities: Spend lazy hours on the beach, or in a hammock in the gardens, or, if feeling more energetic, use one of the bikes to explore the area. The backwaters are within a short drive and there are opportunities for cruises. Yoga sessions can be arranged on request.

Facilities: The hotel adjoins a stretch of beach with a snack bar. There is an outdoor swimming pool and a separate children’s pool. The Ayur Spa offers Ayurveda therapies to enhance health and well-being.

Dining: Waterfront Restaurant is open for breakfast (07:30-10:00), lunch (12:00-14:30) and dinner (19:00-22:30). As well as tasty Keralan cuisine you can enjoy North Indian and international dishes. Serene by the Sea, the beach bar, serves non-alcoholic drinks and light meals.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome.

Health: We recommend malaria prophylactics for travel to India.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access in public areas.
