Seasonally, tours to visit nesting turtles are available and it is well worth taking a visit to a nearby village. A canopy tour offers an exhilarating insight into the rainforest from a different perspective.

Relax on the deck with expansive views of the wide waterways, flanked by rainforest. There is an in-house art gallery, a fitness room and spa. Enjoy a swim in the pool surrounded by the beautiful gardens, and within sight of the waterways.
Dining: Exquisite meals are served at individual tables in the Ara Macaw restaurant.

Health: Other than the province of Limon, Costa Rica has low to no risk of malaria

More reviewsTruly amazing. AC was a godsend. Food and guides (Lius and Luis) great. Could have stayed here for weeks. Flight in was part of the experience. Highly recommend the flight. The activities included were wonderful, extra ones we booked (kayaking, turtles etc) were really fun. Fab location for wildlife spotting . As with everywhere, bar shut at 10pm. Not sure if this is seasonal or cultural.
