Set by the Aba Huab River among a grove of mopane trees, Malansrus Tented Camp offers comfy tented accommodation, indoor and outdoor social areas and wonderful views of ruggedly photogenic Damaraland scenery.

From here you can take guided tours to view the rock paintings and engravings at Twyfelfontein, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. These were created by San bushmen thousands of years ago yet depict scenes familiar to our eyes such as animals and hunting scenes. You can also enjoy 4x4 drives to observe rare desert-adapted elephants. 

Back in the camp you can socialise with other guests in the lounge and head out to the deck where chairs are positioned in the shade and you can take in views of the granite koppies which are typical of this region.  

Tents are spacious with wooden floors and frames, a sitting area and storage space. You have an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower, twin hand basins and a separate toilet. At the front of the tent there's a shaded deck with armchairs where you can sit and admire the views at your leisure. Tents are set well apart from each other offering you privacy and seclusion.
