Maison Gallieni occupies an excellent location in the heart of Antananarivo. Nestled on a hillside, with views over the city, the building dates back to 1879, it once housed the first bank created in Madagascar and is now home to the Consulate of Monaco, so effectively you are staying in the Ambassador's house.
When you enter the lobby, you can't help but notice the exquisite contemporary furniture and modern decor complimented with interesting artworks and the amazing spiral staircase draws your eye. The staff are welcoming, extremely helpful and friendly and will do everything to ensure you enjoy your stay here.
There are just four rooms, giivng the hotel an exclusive feel. Three rooms are located on the ground floor which leads out to the beautiful gardens, the pool and the open air seating area, and there is a larger room on the first floor. All rooms are en-suite and enjoy air-conditioning, a TV, safe and access to Wifi. The dining room is on the first floor making the most of the views over the city, adn you have the option to dine alfresco on the veranda.
