Open: Luangwa Safari House is open from mid March through to mid January.

Location:  The camp is located in South Luangwa National Park on the edge of a lagoon.

Rooms:  This private safari house has 4 bedrooms catering for a maximum of 8 guests. Two are upstairs and two downstairs. Each has an en-suite bathroom with twin basis, toilet and shower. One of the rooms has a bathtub too.

Activities: Day and night game drives are offered in South Luangwa National Park. Cultural village tours are available, you can visit Chipembele, a local market and Tribal Textiles. From January to April it is possible to explore the lagoons and river by boat. As your party will have exclusive use of the house, you set your own schedule.

Facilities:  There is a dining area and lounge with comfy sofas covered in scatter cushions. Walk through the lounge out to the expansive deck. There's a small pool and another smaller deck that leads further out to the lagoon. A sunken hide can give you superb views of the elephants as they come down to the water to drink.

Dining: Meals are served both indoors and outdoors.

Children: The camp welcomes children aged 7 and above though walking is not allowed for children under 12

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: You can usually get a mobile phone signal, but the WiFi is very intermittent. In case of emergency Nkwali's office is a 5 minute drive away.
