Long Lee Manor, originally built in 1910, offers a distinctive colonial experience, evoking a bygone era of gracious living. This restored Edwardian manor house offers guests refined comfort, congenial service and enticing cuisine in the African bush. Long Lee Manor accommodates up to 30 guests in 10 suites and 5 luxury rooms, all with air-conditioning, tea and coffee maker, minibar, safe, battery charging points, TV, phone and en-suite bathroom. All have either a balcony or terrace. 

Sumptuously prepared meals are enjoyed in the main dining room, around the open blazing fire or in the lapa by the river. Between game drives you can laze around one of the two pools, relax in the beautifully appointed garden lounge enjoying views of the plains and Bushmans River, cool off with a swim in the pool, burn off some energy in the gym or experience a rejuvenating treatment in the spa. 

Game drives take place in the morning and evening, travelling through rolling hills and valleys. Each vehicle has a trained ranger who has extensive knowledge of the flora and fauna. In the early morning in can be quite chilly, so blankets are supplied to keep you warm. Drives include stops for drinks and snacks, with the evening excursion including sundowners in a specially chosen location. Then, as the light fades and you head back to the manor the ranger plugs in a powerful hand-held light and it may be possible to see a variety of nocturnal animals. Anyone interested in conservation will want to visit the Wildlife Rehabilitation Centre, and there are also chances to go one of the Born Free Big Cat Sanctuaries and the Ian Player  Rhino Awaremess Centre.
