Elewana Loisaba Star Beds sits on a rocky kopje, with commanding views over the beautiful valley and waterhole below. For those wanting a fully immersive experience, something a little different, then Starbeds could be what you are looking for. The Star Beds offer guests an adventurous and romantic sleeping experience under the African sky. You'll be welcomed and looked after by a team of traditional Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai warriors.

Each Star Bed is designed on a raised, handcrafted, wooden platform that is partially covered with a thatched roof. Homemade 'Mukokoteni' beds can either be wheeled onto the open deck for a night under the stars or left under the shelter of the thatch. All the beds have complete four poster mosquito netting. There is a sitting area and open plan bathroom, with a view of course. There are 3 double platforms and 1 twin or family platform at the camp. The en-suite shower room has hot running water and flush toilet, and solar electricity.

Your hosts at the Starbeds are Samburu and Laikipiak Maasai warriors and they will ensure you get the most out of your stay here. Watch the sunrise from your bed with a hot drink and round the day off with drinks by the fire in the Star Beds lounge, chatting with the other guests before sharing a delicious dinner and retiring to your own Starbeds platform to marvel at the African stars before drifting off to sleep.
