Open: Linkwasha Camp is open year round.

Location: The camp is on the private Linkwasha Concession in the southeast of Hwange National Park. The nearest airstrip is Linkwasha, about an hours’ drive from the camp.

Rooms: There are 9 tents including a family tent. 8 of the tents have 2 twin beds each, an en-suite bathroom with two hand basins, a shower and toilet. The family unit consists of 2 tents, both en-suite, with the second bedroom being used either as a living room or a bedroom, as needed. The main bathroom has twin hand basins, shower and a bath with a separate toilet and the other bathroom has a single hand basin and a shower. All tents have an air cooling system and fans, tea and coffee maker, minibar, sitting area, safe and hairdryer. Bathrooms are equipped with toiletries. Electric blankets are provided in winter.

Activities: You can go for game drives in the national park, in open-sided 4x4s equipped with a roof for shade, and night drives to search for nocturnal species. Walking safaris are also offered. You are welcome to visit a local village and school with a guide from the camp. You can spend a night on the star bed at Scott’s Pan, a 15 minute drive from the camp. The lodge provides a laundry service.

Facilities: The lounge, bar and dining area are all under canvas and lead out to a series of decks and a swimming pool, firepit and pizza oven. There is a cosy lounge with a fireplace which comes into its own in winter.

Dining: Meals are served in the covered dining area and on the deck. Some meals are eaten communally and others at individual tables.

Children: Children aged 6 year are more are welcome. Families with children aged between 6 and 12 are required to book private safari activities. The minimum age for walking safaris is 13 years.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is no Wi-Fi internet access or mobile phone coverage.
