Open: Les Chambres du Voyageur is open all year.

Location: Les Chambres du Voyageur is just off the main N7 road near the train station in the city of Antsirabe, near the train station. The city is around a 3 hour drive (170kms) south of the capital, Antananarivo.

Rooms: There are 8 bungalows including twins, doubles and triples, and 2 family houses, all named after local flowers. They are traditional in style, built of local materials, simply decorated, and have heating for chilly weather. All have an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold water, a shower, basin and flush toilet.

Activities: Go sightseeing in Antsirabe, with its old villas, wide avenues and thermal baths. Take a ride in a pousse pousse (rickshaw).

Facilities: The hotel lounge-bar has a TV and Wi-Fi internet access. The gardens cover 6,000 square metres and are planted with local trees, flowers and shrubs, and include pretty ponds and themed areas such as the Jardin Majorelle. Birds, butterflies, dragonflies, tortoises and chameleons can be seen here.

Dining: The restaurant serves a continental breakfast each day and a 3-course dinner can be arranged on request. Meals are made from fresh, local produce. Dinner can be accompanied by your choice of wine from the list. Meals are eaten at individual tables.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. There are 2 family rooms.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access in the lounge.
