Lake Kivu Serena Hotel is situated on a sandy beach on the banks of Lake Kivu in the resort town of Gisenyi, aganist the backdrop of the Virunga Volcanoes. The hotel has 66 bedrooms, in a variety of standards, all with air conditioning and satellite TV.

The restaurant offers excellent views out over the lake from the first floor with an outdoor terrace, while the bar has a lounge and outside area by the pool. Guests can enjoy the facilities which include a large outdoor swimming pool, tennis courts and a well equipped gym.

The hotel also offers boat trips and water sports on the lake. From here guests can take walks to explore the town and also local fishing communities based around the lake. The town of Gisenyi is really interesting and we recommend taking time to wander around and take a guided tour.
