Location: The riad is in the walled city (medina) of Marrakech, overlooking the Saadian Tombs, and within easy walking distance of the main Djemmaa el Fna square.

Rooms: There are 28 rooms or suites within La Sultana. Each have aircon, a TV, DVD/CD player, and internet access. They are elegantly-furnished, and include works of art to lend even more charm. As is traditional in riads, the rooms mostly look into the inner courtyards. The rooms also have fireplaces and a mini-bar with free non-alcoholic drinks

Facilities: One of the special things about La Sultana is its amazing spa. It has 2 hammams, a jacuzzi, sauna and beauty centre, and offers balneotheray baths as well as massages and other treatments. It's also a very beautiful and relaxing space. Your stay includes free access to the spa (including a jacuzzi and cardio-training). Specific treatments are all payable.

Dining: Known for its excellent cuisine, La Sultana offers a mix of Moroccan and Mediterranean fare. You can eat in the restaurant, but also ring the changes by eating by the pool or on the terraces or living rooms at different times of the day.

Children: Children are welcome at the riad, though on the whole it's probably not the first place we'd recommend if you have young children.
