Located next door to the Saadian Tombs and just ten minutes walk from the centre of Marrakech's walled city, La Sultana is a luxury boutique hotel and member of the 'Great Hotels of the World'.
It is a traditonal Moroccan riad with the guest rooms and suites built around four central courtyards.
The largest courtyard has a swimming pool, while the extensive roof terrace provides many hidden nooks where you can relax and enjoy the views, or just sit and listen to the sounds of Marrakech. It's lovely to eat in the open air up here too!
Whilst La Sultana is quite formal in some ways, the staff at La Sultana are very friendly, and speak good English.
The Prestige Spa
La Sultana offers an extremely well-equipped spa in an atmospheric setting under vaulted arches. Guests can relax in the lounge over a glass of mint tea before, after and between treatments. A wide range of treatments is offered in this relaxing setting, including body wraps, hydrotherapy, aromatherapy, massages and seaweed treatments. There are also special treatments for men. The spa uses natural oils and botanical extracts.
