La Petite Ferme is a gorgeous guest house and winery near Franschhoek in the Western Cape winelands. From the estate there are beautiful views across the hills and valleys from the farm.

Accommodation is in suites, lodges and self-catering cottages. Suites are located in the gardens and offer spacious, stylish accommodation. Some have private plunge pools. The lodges are a little distance from the main farm building, overlooking a trout lake. The 2 cottages are also a short distance from the farm. They are self-catering and each accommodates up to 4 adults and 2 children.  

La Petite Ferme Restaurant has had an excellent reputation built over three generations of the family. It has been voted a 'top ten restaurant' by Wine Magazine. It is open for breakfast and lunch. Meals are eaten indoors looking out over the stunning Winelands views, while you are warmed by open fires and under floor heating. On warm days you can eat outdoors in the lush gardens. The cuisine is created by the chefs in a fusion of African, Malay and international styles. The restaurant is not pen for dinner but there is a great choice of eateries in Franschhoek, 2kms away. 

Many activities are available in the area including wine tasting on horseback, mountain biking, a variety of gastronomic options including chocolate tasting, bread making and cheese tasting. You can take a cellar tour at La Petite Ferme to get an insight into the art of the winemaker, followed by a delicious lunch and some of their famous wine.
