La Mamounia is located between Marrakech city centre and the old medina, at the heart of the 12th century city ramparts, well-placed for visiting the key historical sites. It combines the best modern features with traditional values and attentive service, and has been welcoming guests for almost 100 years.

Accommodation is a mix of rooms, suites and riads. The 135 rooms include classic, superior and deluxe. All have private bathrooms and views of the city, gardens, the Hivernage or the High Atlas Mountains. The 71 suites include 6 signature suites and offer spacious living areas with many also featuring a terrace or balcony. In addition there are 3 guest riads at La Mamounia, each with 3 en-suite bedrooms, a dining room, private terrace and swimming pool.

There is a choice of dining. Housed in a riad in the gardens, Le Marocain serves local cuisine. On the upper floor there is a bar and tea room. There are restaurants specialising in French and Italian cooking and Le Pavillon de la Piscine is open for breakfast and buffet lunches. There are several bars and Le Menzeh pavilion, which serves ice cream, pastries and mint tea.

The spa at La Mamounia is open from 9am till 9pm every day, and offers a wide range of beauty and health treatments in a number of rooms using specially developed products. It also features a heated indoor pool, to compliment the large outdoor pool. Sports and fitness fans will enjoy a game of tennis and a visit to the gym, where there are exercise machines and you can take part in yoga, pilates and aerobics classes.

The hotel is set in beautiful gardens with orange blossom, roses and olive trees, described by Winston Churchill, a former guest, as one of the most beautiful places on Earth. In all, the grounds stretch to 20 acres, a peaceful contract to the bustling alleys and souks of Marrakech.
