La Maison Arabe opened as a restaurant in 1946 and in 1998 in became the first riad-hotel in the medina. It still has a deservedly good name for its restaurants, and now also offers Moroccan cooking classes which you can experience whether you're staying at the riad or not.

All of the 26 rooms and suites are unique in design and many have a private terrace and fireplace. The riad is in the Bab Doukkala district just 10 minutes walk from the Djemma el Fna, Marrakech's main square. 

A large heated swimming pool is in a walled courtyard with a sundeck surrounded by flowers and olive trees. 

There is a superb hammam and spa here, offering relaxing and pampering through a variety of treatments. 

La Maison Arabe also has the unique advantage of a 'country club and private gardens' just outside of the city if you fancy a break from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech for a day. There is a complimentary shuttle bus which can whisk you here in about 15 minutes. There are 2 acres of charming grounds and gardens  plus a lovely swimming pool, a restaurant and three 27-hole golf courses nearby. The private gardens can also be used for private parties and celebrations.
