Open: La Leona Eco Lodge is open all year round.

Location: The Osa Peninsula, adjacent to the Corcovado National Park.

Rooms: There are 10 en-suite ocean view tents, 6 en-suite tents with garden views and 5 tents which make use of shared bathrooms . The tents are comfortable and rustic, each simply furnished with a private veranda. The showers are either open or semi-open to the sky. There is no electricity in the rooms, lighting is provided by candles, adding to the ambience.

Activities: There is a good choice of activities here. From self-guided tours in the reserves, bird watching and rainforest tours. Why not kayak through the mangroves or take a horse ride along the beach. You can also wander at leisure through the trails on the private reserve. During the season you can also take tours to the beach to see nesting turtles or hatchlings making their way to the sea.

Facilities: There is a delightful open air restaurant and bar overlooking the ocean and hammocks are dotted about the property at strategic places allowing you to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature.

Dining: Dining is at individual tables.

Children: Children aged 4 years and over are welcome at La Leona Eco-Lodge.

Health: Costa Rica has a low risk of malaria.

Communication: There is no WiFi internet access and no mobile signal. There is internet access and radio communication for operational and emergency purposes only.
