La Isla de los Tucanes consists of 7 guest cottages and communal areas set in verdant gardens a short walk from the centre of Rurrenabaque. Known as the gateway to Madidi National Park, Rurrenabaque is primarily used as a stopover before or after a holiday in the Amazon.

Cottages have either 3 or 4 en-suite bedrooms, simply furnished and homely in style, plus a lounge with TV, fridge and safe, and ether a balcony or terrace. Interiors are air conditioned. The restaurant serves a buffet breakfast each morning to set you up for the day. Recreational facilities on site include a swimming pool, separate children's pool, relaxation areas with sunloungers and hammocks, a games room, children's playground and a gym. Bikes are available if you want to explore the neighbourhood or head into town.
