Open: Kwara camp is open all year round.
Location: In the heart of the Okavango Delta on permanent water adjacent to Moremi Game Reserve. The camp is about a 15-minute drive from Kwara airstrip.
Accommodation: Nine en-suite tents with inside/outside showers, slipper bathtub and spacious lounge area. Tents are cooled via a ceiling fan and a mosquito net is draped around the bed at night.
Activities: Game drives, both day and night, guided nature walks and mokoro trips, as well as power boating and fishing. All activities are offered year-round except fishing which is prohibited in January and February. There will be a maximum of 4 guests per game drive vehicle (unless you have more guests travelling together, the vehicles can actually seat 9).
Facilities: There is a lounge and dining area, two pools each with a deck, loungers and a bar. There is a campfire area where guests can enjoy evening drinks. The camp has a gift shop.
Dining: Meals are served buffet style and a good variety is provided including fresh vegetables and fruit. Guests are seated together for all meals, but a private meal on your veranda can be arranged on request
Children: The minimum age for Kwando camp is 18 years. (Kwando's Splash Camp welcomes children).
Health: This is a malarial area.
Communication: There is no mobile reception, no direct phone or fax and no internet, a deliberate policy. Communication is maintained by radio.
Notes: Kwara Camp has a three-night minimum stay policy.
