Open: Kubu Lodge is losed in February. 

Location: In Kazungula near Kasane and Chobe National Park, and close to the border river crossing to Zambia. 

Rooms: The 11 chalets all have en-suite bathrooms with shower, flush toilet and hand basin. The ceiling fans help keep the thatched chalets cool during the day. Other room facilities include tea and coffee making facilities, mosquito nets and hairdryers. The chalets available are: 3 double bed chalets including single bed, 2 double bed chalets, 4 triple/twin Chalets (3 twin beds), 1 twin chalet (2 twin beds), 1 quad chalet (2 twin beds and 1 bunk bed for children 4 to 11yrs).  

Activities: Kubu is a great base from which to explore Chobe National Park on game drives and boat safaris. There is a short nature trail within the lodge grounds. Victoria Falls is just an hour's drive away over the border. A sunset river cruise is a lovely way to spend an evening here. Note: No activities are included in the price other than the nature trail. 

Facilities: There is a swimming pool, a gift shop selling souvenirs, and a library. 

Dining: The restaurant serves food that is a fusion of Africa and European styles. It has an elevated position with good views of the river. Meals can be taken inside or out on the wooden terrace. There is also a private boma for quiet, romantic and celebration dinners. 

Children: Children are welcome. 

Health: This is a malarial area. 

Communication: Mobile signals tend to be quite good here.
