Open: Konkamoya Lodge is open from March to December each year.

Location: Konkamoya Lodge is by the Itezhi-Tezhi Lake in Kafue National Park. This is a remote, little-visited area. The nearest airstrip is at Ngoma. Komkamoya is about a 5 hour drive from Lusaka, 5 hours from Livingstone and 7 hours from Victoria Falls.

Rooms: There are 4 tents set on wooden decks. Each has a bedroom, lounge, and bathroom with hot and cold running water for basins and showers. Private decks overlook the lake and are screened by trees and bushes for privacy. All tents face east and are perfectly positioned for watching the sunrise. They are supplied with solar-powered electricity, have mineral water, and are cooled by breezes blowing from the lake along with electric fans.

Activities: Game drives in open-sided 4x4 vehicles. These set out from camp just after sunrise and about 2 hours before sunset each day. The afternoon drive usually includes sundowners and a return to camp looking for nocturnal species by torch light. Guided walks are available. It is also possible to visit the nearby elephant orphanage, where you can observe young elephants being prepared for release into the wild.

Facilities: There is a lapa (open air meeting area), for dining and socialising around an open fire. They are great spots from which to watch wildlife by the lake while enjoying a drink from the bar.

Dining: Meals are eaten communally.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome, though only those over 6 years can take part in safari activities. Children under the age of 16 must share a tent with their parents.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is Wi-Fi internet access.
