Open: Both camps are open from mid-June to the end of October and mid-December to the end of March each year.

Location: Kirurumu Serengeti North Camp is on the private Sonzo site at Kogatende, near the Kenyan border from June to October. Kirurumu Serengeti South Camp is located around the Ndutu area from December to March. Central Camp is west of Seronera.

Rooms: There are seven safari tents in each camp. All are en-suite with either a shower cubicle with solar-heated water (North and South) or a bucket shower (Central). There is space to store luggage and clothes.

Activities: You have early morning and late afternoon game drives. All areas have good populations of resident game and are excellent safari destinations. Game drives take place is 4x4 safari vehicles. It may also be possible to take guided walks and bird watching tours. Seasonal hot air balloon safaris can be arranged.

Facilities: The lounge-dining tent has sofas, chairs, and coffee tables where you can browse through books, maps and magazines and enjoy a drink from the honesty bar. There is a selection of games for children. Outside there’s a campfire, lit at sundown each day. The camp has a free laundry service and there are facilities for charging batteries.

Dining: Meals are eaten as a group in the lounge-dining tent and out in the open. Bush lunches can be arranged.

Children: Children of all ages are very welcome here, though you may decide that such an open, wild camp is unsuitable for young children.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is no internet access.
