There are two Kirurumu Serengeti Camps, one of which, the 'swing' camp, moves between locations in north and south Serengeti while the other remains in the central region of the national park.

Kirurumu Serengeti North and South Camp's two sites ensure optimum game viewing. From June to October it is in Kogatende in the northern Serengeti, well-positioned for migration river crossings. This area has plentiful resident wildlife outside the migration time so there's always a lot to see. Between mid-December and the end of March the camp moves to the Ndutu area in southern Serengeti, where you can observe migration herds including new borns during the wildebeest calving season (mid-February to early March). Lakes attract plains game from surrounding areas and predators often seen here include lion and cheetah.

Kirurumu Central Camp has a fixed location and is open from mid-June to the end of October and again from mid-December to the end of March. This is an area of open plains, hills and kopjes with excellent wildlife viewing and the added bonus of the migration usually passing through from April to June and again in November and December.

Morning and afternoon game drives are the main activity at both camps, between which you rest in camp sitting out the hottest part of the day. Relax in the lounge-dining tent as you chat to other guests, enjoy sociable meals and leaf through reference books. Each evening the fire is lit by the main tents and you gather for sundowners and snacks prior to a candle-lit dinner.

Both camps have seven tents providing spacious and comfy, en-suite accommodation with a private shaded terrace. The tents at North and South are slightly larger and have solar showers, while those Central Camp have traditional bucket showers.

We loved it- staff/host Godwin were amazing. It was a bit too far from the river so needed half hour each day to get started but loved it and the food was exquisite- catered for Gluten and Dairy free brilliantly

Two small tented camps which between them use three locations for best sightings of the annual wildebeest migration.
