Location: Kinondo Kwetu is on Galu Beach south of Diani, about a 90 minute drive south of Mombasa. Charter flights arrive at Ukunda airstrip 15 minutes’ drive from the hotel.

Rooms: The resort has a several different room types including garden rooms, cottages and family rooms. It accommodates a maximum of 43 guests, and some accommodation areas can be booked for exclusive use. All rooms have en-suite bathrooms and mosquito nets and some have private verandas with hammocks. They are decorated in Swahili style

Activities: The hotel arranges snorkelling trips sand islands by the reef and to Kisite Marine Park. Diving is also offered and there is a dive master on site. Kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, water-skiing and stand-up paddle boarding are popular. Cruises are a good way to relax and enjoy the ocean. On land activities offered include horse riding, tennis and golf. Safaris can be organised in Shimba Hills National Park just 45 minutes’ drive way. Sightseeing trips in Ukunda and Mombasa and visits to Kinondo village can be organised. You can indulge in a spa treatment, practise yoga, enjoy a relaxing swim in the pool or ocean and sunbathe on the beach. At low tide you can walk along the jetty to reach the water.

Facilities: The hotel has a private beach and over 6 hectares of attractive gardens. There is a large swimming pool in the shape of a 3 leaf clover. There are areas for yoga, Pilates and aerobics. The spa offers a range of treatments including massages, facials and manicures, and there is a sauna.

Dining: Meals are taken at individual tables in various locations including on the beach, in the garden or in your own room. There is no fixed dining area.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. There are family rooms and cottages. Babysitting can be arranged.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is a laptop with Wi-Fi internet access in the office near the hotel entrance.
