  • Mobile camp sited to observe the migration
  • Just 8 guest tents
  • Half or full day game drives
  • Relax by the campfire
  • Tasty home-cooked food

Kimondo Camp is a traditional safari camp that has two locations, following the migration so you'll be in the best location to witness this great natural spectacle. From June to November it is in the Lamai Wedge in the north, and from December to March it is in Kusini in the south. Both locations are remote and away from the crowds.
The eight tents are set well apart from each other, so you can unwind in seclusion on your veranda when you want some quiet downtime. The bathroom has a flush toilet, hand basin with running water and bucket shower, for which hot water is provided on request. A range of toiletries is provided for your stay. There is solar lighting and a torch. Two of the tents are larger and can accommodate an extra bed.
The camp has a relaxed atmosphere and you'll enjoy spending time in the lounge getting to know fellow guests, chatting over a drink or game of cards and savouring some delicious home-cooked meals.
While at Kimondo your days will be busy with game drives. You can opt for a morning drive, followed by leisurely time in camp till the late afternoon when you depart on a second game drive. You'll also have the chance to spend the whole day out game viewing, complete with picnic meals.
