Open: Kanha Earth Lodge is open to coincide with the opening dates of Kanha National Park, usually 15th October to 30th June.

Location: Kanha Earth Lodge is located just outside the national park. It is set in over 6 hectares of forest about a 30-minute drive from the Khatia / Kisli park gate. The nearest airports are at Jabalpur, a 3-4 hour drive, Raipur, a 5-hour drive, and Nagpur, a 6-hour drive away. Charter flights can land at Birwa airstrip 35 kms from the lodge.

Rooms: There are 12 bungalows each with an en-suite bathroom with hot and cold running water, a dressing room and a large open verandas. Cottages are air conditioned and have a ceiling fan. There is round-the-clock electricity.

Activities: Take early morning and late afternoon open jeep safaris in Kanha National Park, join ornithological and nature walks in the lodge grounds, and tour the lodge's kitchen gardens. There are bikes for exploring the surrounding area, and staff can arrange visits to Gond tribal villages, workshops and weekly produce markets. The lodge has resident naturalists who lead wildlife activities.

Facilities: The main lodge houses the dining hall, lounge, library-naturalist presentation room, and gift shop. There is an outdoor swimming pool. The lodge serves Indian and international dishes using locally sourced ingredients. There are barbecue areas and terraces. There is also a tree hide.

Dining: Meals are taken communally indoors and outdoors. The lodge offers both Indian and international dishes.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome at Kanha Earth Lodge.

Health: We recommend malaria prophylactics for travel to India.

Communication: There is no internet access.
