Location: Kafunta River Lodge is set in riverside forest on the banks of the Luangwa River, overlooking the South Luangwa National Park.
Rooms: 8 en-suite chalets and 2 suites all with minibar/fridges, coffee makers,ceiling fans and each with a private verandah. Suites have larger bathrooms and upstairs viewing verandas.
Activities: Game drives (day and night), walking safaris, bird watching safaris.
Facilities: There is a bar area, with lounge and outside and inside dining area, a lovely infinity pool and nearby is a natural hot tub, heated by local spring water. There is a wellness hideout offering a range of treatments and massages. The camp fire it lit each evening, where guests congregate to share stories and a drink with the guides.
Dining: Indoor and Outdoor Dining. Dinner is served around 8pm, Four courses served on the decking area.
Children: Children ages 6 and over are welcomed at Kafunta. As the camp is unfenced, children need to be supervised at all times.
Health: This is a malarial area.
