Room quite small and nowhere to put anything - we were staying 4 nights so would have preferred more space. Aside from this - loved the hotel - loads of character, great location. Service for breakfast rather slow and got orders wrong ( unlike other hotels it was not a buffet). Stunning lake views from the roof top and the restaurant.

What a fantastic way to enjoy the water traffic to and from Udaipur on Christmas day, sitting on the roof top of the hotel with a beer or a cup of masala chai. We travelled to the hotel via tuk-tuk as the roads are too narrow to get right in and were amazed that such a fantastic place could be tucked away in such a central spot. As you climb the stairs to stand on the roof top, you are amazed once more to see you are right on the waters edge. The rooms are clean, well equipped and very spacious. One of the best showers we experienced in India - water comes via your own boiler in the bathroom. Meals could be taken in the restaurant or outside on the roof and there is a good menu to choose from. As its an Haveli you expect a little noise form closing doors and fellow guest but we had a great nights sleep. A good choice to stay in Udaipur.

Looks like an Escher print, beautiful terrace overlooking the Lake for breakfast and dinner. Room perfectly adequate but not great.
