Islands of Siankaba

A beautiful luxury lodge in a remote setting on the waters of the Zambezi.

Islands of Siankaba Lodge is set over two densely forested sand islands near some rapids in the Zambezi River. It is 24 miles upstream from Victoria Falls and just 30 miles from Chobe Game Park in Botswana. It is a luxury lodge sleeping just 14 guests in seven rooms.
The two islands are linked by a suspension bridge leading to a walkway connecting to the elevated chalets. Guests do not actually walk on the islands surface in order to protect the fragile riverine environment.
One of the distinctive features of the lodge is the excellence of its food and wines having developed a reputation for ‘haute-cuisine in the bush' to compliment first class service. Decor is also of a high standard and all chalets have en-suite bathrooms, (ball and claw baths and separate shower), mini bar, large mosquito nets, ceiling fan and private safe. There are also honeymoon and VIP suites.
There is also a treatment room, 'the Ukuchina Boma' where a qualified therapist can offer you massage and traditional Zambian treatments!

Wonderful place - unique- great staff and facilities - better here than at a faceless hotel in LIVINGSTONE
