Open: It is open all year.

Location: The lodge is in the Sandstone Mountains bordering Isalo National Park.

Rooms: There are 60 rooms, made up of twins, doubles, family rooms and suites. All have a large en-suite bathroom with twin hand basins, shower, bath, toiletries, bathrobes and hairdryer. Bedrooms have a tea and coffee maker, minibar, safe, chair and table, storage space, phone for use within the hotel, mosquito net and balcony with 2 chairs. Suites also have a lounge. All rooms and suites are air conditioned.

Activities: Go for guided walks and hikes in Isalo National Park, to spot wildlife and admire the varied scenery. Horse riding can be arranged. After dark the clear skies offer fine star gazing.

Facilities: The hotel has a lounge-bar and restaurant, both with full length windows looking out over the cliffs and forest. There is also a dining terrace. There is an outdoor swimming pool and pool bar. The lodge has spa. There are walking trails including one that leads to Giorgio’s Window, best visited to watch the sunset. Reception is staffed 24 hours a day.

Dining: Meals are a blend of Malagasy and European cooking, served at individual tables.

Children: Children of all ages are welcome. There are family rooms, and cots are available on request.

Health: This is a malarial area.

Communication: There is free Wi-Fi internet access in public areas and rooms though this is not always reliable.
