Ipanema Plaza

Open:  The Golden Tulip Ipanema Plaza is open all year.

Location:  Ipanema Plaza is situated less than 100 metres from the beach, just 5 minutes from Copacabana and 30 minutes from the international airport.  

Rooms:  There are 140 rooms and suites equipped with air conditioning, cable TV, minibar, safe, Wi-Fi internet access and en-suite bathroom. They vary in size and layout. 8 have ocean views and 4 have balconies overlooking the ocean. There is 24-hour room service.

Activities:  Sunbathing, swimming, relaxing on Ipanema Beach, enjoying the views from the rooftop terrace, sampling spa treatments, exercising in the gym, exploring the sites and shops of Rio.

Facilities:   There is a rooftop swimming pool and deck. The spa offers massage and has a sauna and a hair salon. There is a gym. The beach service provides guests with sun loungers, sun shades and towels. The restaurant serves contemporary Asian cuisine including Sushi. Guests can enjoy candle-lit dinners. The hotel also has an informal bistro. Snacks and drinks are available at the pool. A laundry service and currency exchange facilities are available.

Dining:  Meals are taken at individual tables.

Children:  Children of all ages are welcome. Baby sitting can be arranged.

Health: Rio is not a malarial area.
